Why do I play?

• I enjoy the task of just playing your character, trying to play flawlessly with your key bindings and observing mechanics in both PvE and PvP.

• I enjoy learning mechanics, so that I can be a raid leader and help others do the content. Since majority of the player base don't like helping others learn, I enjoy being a tool to help others in that regard.

• The gear system is always changing, so there is an unending task to always improve your gear. Season after season.

• The most exciting factor in this game is to get down a raid boss.. after wiping so many times. Everyone cheers. Everyone played a part. Its awesome.

• My most addicting part of this game is when I do not make key binding mistakes and RNG is in my favor. I enjoy being in the top 3 on Damage meters.

• My personal achievements are based on gathering a group of strangers to complete content. These are called PUGS in the game. I help lead others who don't have a stable guild or anyone really, who wants to face the new content. Often times, it only takes me 1 exposure fight to take lead and form my own raid group. (If you were in a guild, you run the content with the same people over and over, making it much more easier to coordinate and organize situational mechanics. This is much more difficult with a group of strangers, or PUG group.)

• It is a beautiful world to explore, with many continents and environments.

• At this point in the game, it would take a very very long time to get caught up with achievements. There is always something to do.

Began leveling my rogue as a Tauren, quickly got tired of looking at the tauren and went Undead. Leveled up on the new continent by doing the main quest line and skipping optional quests. Did a few dungeons here and there. So far, the main goal is to complete the main storyline, already reached max level of 70, gear up, max dragon riding skills, drop Herbalism and relearn Enchanting. Enchanting is way more profitable because I prefer dungeons and raids vs farming herbs. Enchanting mats can be sold for gold and buy herbs with that gold. For the meantime, I have herbalism until finding a main city to change professions.

Max item level in Shadowlands was 300-311.
Max item level in Dragonflight so far is 400-420.
Rare spawns are easy to solo on world map, drop 350 ilvl gear.
Dungeons are dropping 385 ilvl gear.

Leveling up and doing quests gives gear below 300 ilvl. I am keeping it just to Disenchant it. Collecting herbs near my toon, but not going out of my way to do so. Collecting dragon coins to upgrade dragon riding skills, its so slow with a point system called "Vigor". Apparently once you max dragon flying its much better, currently its faster to use fly points.

What could be better?

• The communities veteran players are usually unfriendly to those learning. There are exceptions.

• Sometimes in a Mythic+ dungeon, you will run into a random person who just joined to leave after you start the key timer. Wasting your key level.

• Often times in any content, after the very first few attempts people decide to leave the raid. This becomes unproductive since so many refuse to coordinate mechanics and just end up leaving the raid. There are exceptions.

• Most of the time during raiding PvE or PvP is very time consuming due to constant people leaving (Leavers). Looking for players to refill becomes a chore. I don't play in a guild, so this is unavoidable and an excessive amount of time goes to just this.

• Questing is very monotonous, after doing 1000's of them it becomes a chore.

• Like many companies today, they have corrupted leadership. Once the game had become a cash cow, they neglected quality updates.

• There used to be servers dedicated to PvP, however blizzard removed them. Now each server has an optional PvP mode and majority of players turn it off. PvP mode is now called "War Mode". Only activatable in a major city. You may deactivate it at anytime, anywhere. Thus, removing PvP from the in-game world. In my observations about 95% of the time everyone in your party will have it turned off, clarifying the end of world PvP. On occasion, you'll have some fun with opposing faction with it turned on.

• Auctionator - Keeps track of AH prices to help me list mine.

• WeakAuras - Create Icon or bar timers for active and inactive skills/mechanics. Very useful addon, most people will be using this in some way. You can create entire interfaces with this addon alone.

• Details! - Damage, Healing and various other data tracking.

• Leatrix Plus - Automates selling junk and other useful quality of life features.

• OmniCC - Bright numbers for skill cooldowns.

• Quartz - Cast Bar

• SexyMap - Makes the mini-map moveable and look different.

• SimulationCraft - Creates a text to copy and paste on Raidbots website here. This is the current simulation for maximizing your gear for damage.

• TellMeWhen - Buff/Debuff visual tracker.

• TomCat's Tours - Rare mob/Chest location on map.

• BigWigs Bossmods - Raid fight notifications.

• Raider.IO - Creates a tooltip of your progression and other players progression with current content. Also your M+ rating and other players ratings. Applies to alts as well.

Notable Achievements

Wrath of The Lich King

• Formed a PUG and raid, led to a complete no-death 10-man Naxx raid, for the title "Undying".

Shadowlands

• After an Almighty Push Semi-guild run, wiped at Heroic Jailer 7 times and disbanded, from a full clear.. I created a PUG which killed Heroic Jailer on the 13th attempt.

• Formed a PUG and raid led a Mythic Fated for The Tarragrue in Sanctum of Domination. 

• Formed a PUG and raid led a Heroic Fated Sylvannas kill. PvE. Sanctum of Domination.

• Formed a PUG for Rated Battlegrounds and achieved 1500 rank. PvP.

• Met a guild from Australia that let me raid with them. Contributed to a call-interrupts strategy that helped organize interrupts on Heroic Prototype Pantheon boss.
  11 interrupts, just me for the encounter. 50 Interrupts total for the encounter. I was also top DPS for the kill 7.69M 18.4k Overall. Sepulcher of the First Ones Heroic.

• Ran a +18 key without dying and zero wipes to beat the timer, in someone else's PUG. Gambit. Highest key so far.

• Joined a PUG and finally killed Heroic/Fated Sire Denathrius after over 15 wipes. That was a nice feeling to get the kill before bed also haha.

• Joined a PUG with mythic raiders, who breezed through Heroic Sanctum of Domination. Killing Sylvannas in 3 attempts. My previous H Sylvannas alone was over 30 wipes.
